Registration

In order to attend Anime Weekend Atlanta, you will need a membership. You might hear memberships also be called tickets or badges but it all means the same thing – a pass to enter the convention grounds and participate in panels, games, concerts, guest meet and greets, and more.

Memberships are available for purchase online & at the door.

You can purchase 4 day memberships, 3 day memberships, 2 day memberships and single day memberships for AWA 2020.

Purchase your membership before the convention

You can purchase AWA memberships in advance of the show, starting now online. These memberships are good for all four of the convention days, and membership badges can be picked up at any time during the weekend.

As the convention approaches, prices go up, so the earlier you get your AWA membership, the more you save!

Additional Options

When purchasing your AWA membership online, you have the option of purchasing two different types of 4 day badge. One is the standard 4 day membership that will need to be picked up at the door when you arrive.

The second type, 4 Day Badge with Mailed Option is $15 more, and includes shipping and handling for your badge to arrive at your home before the convention. Once your badge is shipped, you’ll receive tracking information so you can make sure your badge is on track!

Mailed Option badges are mailed to you before the convention and will arrive about 1-2 weeks before the con. Please make sure you provide a complete and accurate address if you choose this membership type.

Register at the Convention

If you prefer to purchase your membership badge when you arrive at the anime convention, AWA has a variety of options to cover the days you will be there. You cannot, however, purchase badges in advance of the first day they are good for. I.e if you would like to attend Saturday only, you cannot purchase a Saturday Only membership on Thursday or Friday.

Anime Weekend Atlanta accepts both cash and credit at the door. If you are paying via card, please have your photo ID ready as well.

Group discounts will not be available for the 2021 convention.

Picking Up Membership Badges

  1. When you arrive at the convention, please use the entrance to the Renaissance Waverly Hotel.
  2. Proceed up the escalators or elevators to the second floor, and follow the signs for registration. The registration area is located in the Garden Court  (center area) on the second floor.
  3. There will be separate lines for people to pick up their pre-registered badge (memberships purchased online or at an event), and people who need to pay at the window.
  4. You will no longer need photo identification to pick up your membership badge(s) unless paying with a credit card.
  5. If you pre-registered, you DO need to bring your ticket confirmation email.
    • You may bring your Eventeny confirmation email on your mobile device. We recommend screenshotting the email so you don’t have to wait on it loading when you reach the window.

What is included with an AWA membership?

Your membership badge will allow you access to guest panels, autographs, video gaming, tabletop gaming, the manga library, anime screenings and premieres, the Video Art Track and so much more! Additional tickets for very special events may be announced throughout the year. Information will be posted as details are confirmed.

Membership Transfers and Rollovers

AWA memberships are non-refundable, but if you find yourself in an emergency situation, there are options available to you. You can sell/give your membership to another person, or you can roll it over to the following year.

Lost Badges

Unfortunately AWA is not able to freely replace lost badges. If your badge is missing or stolen during the convention, head to Lost and Found and make a report with your contact information. If someone turns in your badge, we’ll get it back to you! If you would still like to attend the convention but no longer have your badge, you will need to purchase a new one.
