Born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, Jarrod grew up watching Dragon Ball Z, Samurai Pizza Cats, and the Toonami block. After graduating from TCU in 2010 with a degree in Radio-TV-Film and a minor in Japanese, Jarrod took a job at Funimation in the Digital Video department. Through the open audition process, he made himself known to the company’s ADR directors, and soon booked his first major role as Coco in the anime adaptation of Toriko.
He has since accrued over 100 credits in anime and video games, including Hitoshi Shinso (My Hero Academia), Hirokazu Arai (Chainsaw Man), Cobra (Fairy Tail), Aren Kuboyasu (The Disastrous Life of Saiki K) and Gardar (Vinland Saga) among others.
