Starlight Idol Festival
Anime Weekend Atlanta’s premiere idol festival! Each year we aim for the moon and land among the stars, and this year is no exception. Join us for the first time ever in main events as we put on our biggest and brightest stage yet! All idols, odorites, dancers, singers, and groups are welcome to apply to SIF. While we focus on Japanese idols and media, we will consider every application equally and carefully.
Kuma Kuma Maid Cafe
The Kuma Kuma Maid Cafe caters to Anime Weekend Atlanta attendees by providing 60-minute sessions of desserts, games, and ‘moe moe’ entertainment while being serviced by friendly maids and butlers in a relaxing atmosphere.
Fashion Show
Every year, Anime Weekend Atlanta is proud to host some of the top trend setters in Japanese Fashion. Featured Fashion Events include panels with designers, the annual AWA Fashion Show, and an elegant Tea Party where you can interact with designers and brand representatives.
Super Happy Fun Sell
The Super Happy Fun Sell (SHFS) is a yard sale-flea market-garage sale type event held at AWA on Thursday night in Grand Panel by the Garden Court on the second floor of the Renaissance Waverly. The purpose of the SHFS is to give AWA attendees a chance to clean out their closets and pass on previously-enjoyed anime and manga merchandise to other fans.
