The Anime Weekend Atlanta Fashion Department is officially making a comeback! We are currently calling for designs/models for Anime Weekend Atlanta’s Fashion Show! Alternate Universe You (AU You/AUU) is a chance for participants to create outfits you would wear in different anime series. Style the outfit yourself using clothes and accessories you already have in your closet! Take inspiration in the attire, uniforms, and styles in your selected series and give it a personal spin.

The anime we’re highlighting this year are: Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Arc, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures: Steel Ball Run, Gachiakuta, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Walpurgisnacht: Rising

If chosen, you will be asked to submit the outfit for review along with the piece-by-piece description (brand/ style) We will also ask you to submit a small intro as to who they are in the series in question (Powers, Rank, etc., Preferably no more than 2 paragraphs).

Models will bring their approved outfit and wear it in the way submitted–deviations after approval must be okayed prior to shows practice run. Models will be in charge of their own hair and makeup. Models are also responsible for their personal items and should have them safely secured and locked away prior to the show. (The dressing rooms will be monitored by staff but still be vigilant of your own items)
