Kira Buckland is an Alaska-born, California-based voice actress who started her journey in 2004 by voice acting as a hobby for online projects and later moved on to voice a number of notable roles in anime and games. She is most known for voicing the lead character “2B” in NieR: Automata, as well as other video games such as Street Fighter V (Falke), Fire Emblem Heroes (Eirika & Katarina), Detective Pikachu (Emilia), Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice (Trucy Wright), Tales of Zestiria (Edna), Danganronpa 2 (Hiyoko Saionji), Danganronpa V3 (Kirumi Tojo), Disgaea 5 (Seraphina), Dead or Alive 5: Last Round (Honoka), Skullgirls (Marie), Paladins (Evie), Puyo Puyo Tetris (Rulue), Bravely Default (Artemia), Castle Crashers (Princesses/Medusa), and many more.
Some of her anime and dubbing credits include Love Live: School Idol Project (Umi), Granblue Fantasy (Lyria), Accel World (Kuroyukihime), Blue Exorcist (Izumo), Sailor Moon (Mimete), Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans (Cookie & Eco), Hunter x Hunter (Zushi), The Asterisk War (Julis), Magi (Kogyoku), A Silent Voice (Naoka), Blood Lad (Hydra Bell), Re:Zero (Beatrice), and Miraculous Ladybug (Alix/Timebreaker). Kira is addicted to makeup, espresso, and classic rock, and when not voice acting she works for a kitten nursery and takes care of her many cats. She cosplays under the name “Lady Stardust”, and is a huge fan of the manga series “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”.
