Seraph Cosplay was created by Jessi Rush, a twenty-something female located in South Georgia, USA. She has been creating costumes since 2009 and continues to learn new methods of crafting to translate a two-dimensional character design into a three-dimensional and functional work of art.

Each costume takes anywhere from 150-500 hours to complete, with most of the work being done by hand -with the exception of her base shoes. Larger costumes are worn by her incredibly patient – and tall – husband.

She hopes to continue encouraging people to create and learn new things about cosplay and reminds everyone that we were all noobs once. Jessi says that “the cosplay community is all about creating, learning, sharing, and enjoying what other people create!” She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge this year at Anime Weekend Atlanta. You can check out her full line of projects at http://www.seraphcosplay.com.
