Kazuhiko Inoue is a Japanese voice actor and singer affiliated with B-Box. He landed his first role in 1973 and hasn’t looked back. He can be heard in over 150 unique voice roles in animation alone, as well as dozens of video game voices and Japanese dub roles including the Japanese voice of Russell Crowe and Tom Hanks. Some of his major anime roles include Joe Shimamura/009 in the 1979 version of Cyborg 009, Shiro Yamaoka in Oishinbo, and Jerrid Messa in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
His longest running and arguably most prolific role is the voice of Naruto’s mentor, Kakashi Hatake in Naruto, which he is currently reprising in Boruto. Fruits Basket fans will recognize him as the voice of Hatori Sohma, and he can also be heard as Gildarts Clive in Fairy Tail, and Nyanko sensei in Natsume’s Book of Friends.
As a singer, he has released three solo music albums in addition to many anime character songs. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to meet a truly talented seiyuu this September at AWA 2017.
Fun fact! He’s also the Japanese voice of Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid!
